Jack always had a knack for getting people what they needed, and for a low enough price to raise eyebrows. As he moved from job to job, he found that he could help people who were in too deep, but only if he was willing to take on the burden himself. His debt grew with each person he saved, and so did the shadiness of his activities. Eventually, he found the police knocking on his door, so he fled into the depths of Arkham. These days, Jack can be found in dark alleys, making deals that the police could hardly imagine, to pay off his most recent debt.
